Julian Hunter BSc DipArch ARB ARIAS RIBA

Julian Hunter has over 20 years experience working within the architectural profession and has developed a particular flair for brokering contemporary design solutions within stipulated planning parameters.

Originally studying at Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone, he went on to complete his academic qualifications at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London. Having also studied in Florence, he returned to the UK where he has since built considerable experience whilst working with practices across the country.

Before pursuing his lifetime ambition of setting up his own practice, Julian completed Perth’s £16.5M PFI project comprising naturally ventilated council headquarters and multi-storey car park; as well as the £20M redevelopment of Arnotts Site, Dundee – a 100,000 ft² city centre retail space, whilst with Perth-based Keppie Architects.

Julian Hunter is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).
